3.5-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Sunday, Nov. 24.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 46 kilometers northeast of Mapanas at 5:05 a.m.

Depth of focus was 24 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
