3.5-magnitude quake hits Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte today, May 1.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:15 a.m, had its epicenter seven kilometers southwest of Villaba.

It had a depth of 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
