3.2-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Friday, Aug. 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 15 kilometers northwest of Cagwait at 1:24 p.m.

Depth of focus was 120 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
