3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News) — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which  struck at 11:33 a.m., had its epicenter 3 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

Depth of focus was 8 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
