3.1-magnitude quake hits Biliran

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Biliran on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 4 kilometers southeast of Naval at 9:51 a.m.

Depth of focus of the quake was 7 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
