3.0-magnitude quake hits Negros Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Negros Oriental on Wednesday afternoon.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 51 kilometers southwest of Basay at 4:41 p.m.

The depth of focus was 33 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
