(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, Aug. 30.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 50 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 8:19 a.m.
Depth of focus of the quake was 130 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
