2,899 pass Physician Licensure Exams

(Eagle News)– The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday (September 21) that 2,899 out of 3,695 passed this month’s Physician Licensure Examination, with alumni of University of Santo Tomas (UST) taking the first and second spot of the top list.

Jeri Charlotte Co Albano marked first with a score of 89.50, followed by fellow alumnus Edwin Mark Lim Chiong with 88.75.

Other names in the top 10 are:

3. Rayan Abogado Oliva of Saint Luke’s College of Medicine with 88.67

4. Harold Henrison Chang Chiu of UP Manila with 88.58

5. Jose Kreisher Rae Bacosa Foscablo of West Visayas State University-La Paz with 88.50

6. Brian Jann Rubenecia Balanquit of FEU-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation with 88.42

7. Kevin Ano Elomina of DLSU-Health Sciences Institute and Jaffar Carag Pineda of UST, both with 88.33

8. Kevin Michael Ramirez Yu of UST with 88.25

9. Gwyn Panes Celo of West Visayas State University-La Paz with 88.17

10. Lorenz Kristoffer del Rosario Daga and Beverly Lynne Yao Ong, both from UST and both with 88.08

 

The exam was conducted in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao.

Online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration was scheduled from September 29 to October 4, 2016.
The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the passers will be announced later.
