The Philippine National Police has released the mid-year bonus for almost 190,000 policemen.

According to PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde,  P6 billion have been credited to the automated teller machines of 189,263 members of the police force.

According to Albayalde, the bonus of each policeman was equivalent to a month’s salary.

He said those entitled to the bonus were those who have rendered at least four months of service from July 1, 2017, to May 15, 2018.

He said they should have at least a satisfactory performance rating.

Over 1000—or 1,988 policemen—were not qualified to receive the bonus because they were convicted of the administrative cases they were facing.

“While your administrative case is ongoing makakatanggap ka pa, kung hindi pa naman resolved. However kung meron na resolution even just for 1 day of suspension, tanggal yung iyong midyear bonus,” Albayalde said.
