(Eagle News) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority towed the car of Rep. Edcel Lagman over the weekend after it was found illegally parked on a road in Quezon City.
A radio report quoted the MMDA as saying Lagman’s son acknowledged he forgot to tell his driver not to park the vehicle–which bore the license plate number “8” given to congressmen—along Scout Borromeo St.
Authorities gave him a ticket.
The MMDA, which has intensified its clearing operations, has repeatedly reminding motorists it would tow vehicles illegally parked on thoroughfares.
