(Eagle News) — Five agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency were killed in an ambush in Lanao del Sur on Friday, October 5.
Authorities said Kenneth Tabulo, Lores Joy Amar, Kristine Mae Torlao, Binzo Dipolla and Diobel Pacinio were killed after the van they were in was fired at as it was on its way to Marawi.
Injured in the incident were Rachel Gentapanan, a PDEA agent, and Normina Dicay of the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station.
Police are investigating the incident.
