Buko vendor files raps vs 3 MMDA men who mauled him

The Relos brothers were arrested on Tuesday, March 6, over a 2007 murder in Masbate. One of them, Romnick (in red), has been in the news lately after he was beaten up by members of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority during a clearing operation last week.

(Eagle News)– The buko vendor who was seen on video being mauled by three Metropolitan Manila Development Authority personnel during clearing operations in Pasay has filed a case against them.

Romnick Relos, 29,  filed a case of physical injury and threats against the three then-members of the Road Clearing Operations Group  on March 12.

The case was filed before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.

Relos himself  and his two brothers, Dondon and Roy, were arrested by virtue of an outstanding warrant of arrest for a 2007 murder in Masbate.

Authorities said they will be transferred to Masbate so they can face the murder case against them.
