Police now probing killings of 3 persons of interest in Bulacan massacre

(Eagle News) — The police are now investigating the killings of three persons of interest in the murder of five members of a family in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

“I just would like to remind them that we are a government of laws,” Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr.  Bulacan provincial director, said in a radio interview in explaining the need for the probe into the deaths of Anthony Garcia Rose, alias Tony;  Roosevelt Merano Sorema, alias “Ponga,” and Rolando Pacinos, alias “Inggo.”

The three were named persons of interest in the killings of Auring Dizon, Estrella Carlos and her three children in their home on June 27.

Rose’s  body was found in Barangay Pacalag in San Miguel on Saturday, while Sorema was shot dead inside his house also in Barangay Sto Cristo on July 5.

Pacinos, the first person of interest to be killed, was found on a  street in Barangay Sto. Cristo a day before.

Four of his fingers and other parts of his body had been cut off.

Carmelino Ibañes, who was arrested after the killing, is under police custody.

Police had earlier surmised Pacinos, Sorema and Rose had been killed by the same vigilante group.

“So dapat iwasan muna yung bugso ng damdamin dahil ang gusto namin mangyari diyan ay let the wheels of justice work, hindi yung swift justice na nangyayari ngayon,” Caramat said.
