February 15, 2014 – The Iglesia Ni Cristo conducted its World Wide Walk for those affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Said charity walk was held not only in various locations in the Philippines but also around the world. Said event garnered recognition as having the world record for the largest charity walk in a single venue.
Many roads in Manila will either be re-routed or closed Saturday as Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) members stage their global “World Wide Walk” charity to benefit Yolanda victims. The Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit announced that these are necessary for the event, which is slated to begin at 4 am and end at 6 pm.
