Signal No. 2 still hoisted over Catanduanes; N. Aurora, five other areas under Signal No. 1

(Eagle News) — Less areas now remain under storm signals even as Tropical Storm “Ramon” continued to move north-northwestward. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Signal No. 1 has been lifted in Sorsogon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar, but it remains hoisted over the eastern portion of Isabela (Divilacan, Palanan, Dinapigue), Northern Aurora (Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan), Polillo Island, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Albay. Monsoon rains to prevail in Ilocos, Zambales today, June 15

(Eagle News)–Monsoon rains are expected in parts of the country today, June 15, as the southwest monsoon affects western Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains are also possible in Ilocos and Zambales.
