DAVAO CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – Nasa mahigit isang milyong voters identification cards ang hindi pa kinuha ng mga kinauukulan particular na sa Davao Region ayon sa Commission on Elections (COMELEC). Sa nakalap na impormasyon, hinikayat ni COMELEC – Davao Regional Director Lawyer Remlane Tambuang, ang 1,193,816 na mga botante na kunin na sa tanggapan ng COMELEC ang kanilang ID. Almost six million voter’s ID cards remain unclaimed

October 26, 2015

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said that almost 6 million voter identification cards remain unclaimed all over the country. With this, COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista encouraged the public to claim their voter’s ID that is now available at the local COMELEC offices nationwide. However, Bautista said that voter’s ID is not a requirement in voting in the May 2016 elections. (Eagle News Service)
