The Philippines-United States Balikatan exercise begins today. The military forces started the first phase by conducting preliminary work on community infrastructure projects in Legaspi City, Albay. The exercise aims to train military personnel of both countries to provide relief and assistance in the event of natural disasters and other crises that endanger public health and safety.
