MANILA, Philippines — Agriculture posted a 4.53 percent drop in production in the first three months of 2016. Lando evacuees return home

As of yesterday, only 106 evacuation centers managed by local government units (LGUs) in Regions I, III, and CAR remain open, temporarily housing 5,805 families or 25,443 persons affected by Typhoon Lando. At the height of Lando, close to 900 evacuation centers were opened to accommodate affected families. Residents begin rebuilding homes in typhoon-hit Philippines

Residents in the town of Casiguran in northern Aurora province on Wednesday (October 21) began rebuilding their homes and clearing debris from the roads after Typhoon “Lando” tore through the area. DSWD aims for speedy delivery of relief to ‘Lando’- affected areas
