LPA off Batanes develops into Tropical Depression “Nimfa”

(Eagle News)–The low pressure area spotted off Batanes has developed into a tropical depression, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. PAGASA said this was as of 2 p.m. The tropical depression is now called “Nimfa.” PAGASA earlier said another LPA had been spotted, this time off Iba, Zambales.
