(Eagle News) — A Pasig court has found the brother of the late Abu Sayyaf leader Khadaffy Janjalani and another guilty of abducting students and teachers in Basilan in 2000. Pasig Regional Trial Branch 261 Judge Florian Gregory Abalajon sentenced Hector Janjalani to reclusion perpetua for 18 counts of kidnapping and serious illegal detention, while Daud Baru was convicted of all 52 counts. PRC releases list of LET passers

(Eagle News)– Over 54,000 passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in both elementary and seconday, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday (November 28). The PRC said 23,378 elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees (30.18 percent) and 31,334 secondary teachers out of 92,754 examinees (33.78 percent) passed the LET given in September.
