(Eagle News)—The Palace on Monday, March 11, clarified Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office general manager Alexander Balutan resigned from his post. SSS president Dooc resigns as his term expires under new SSS charter

(Eagle News)—-Social Security System president Emmanuel Dooc has resigned, as his term expired under the new SSS charter. The new charter, which overhauled the old one, took effect on Tuesday, March 5. President Rodrigo Duterte signed the SSS Rationalization Act in February. Prior to his appointment, Dooc was an Insurance Commissioner,  from 2011 to 2016.

Egypt’s railway authority head resigns after fatal crash

CAIRO, Egypt (AFP) – The head of Egypt’s railway authority resigned Sunday after 41 people were killed in a train crash, the prime minister’s office said.
