DAGUPAN City, Pangasinan — The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is banning the harvesting of shellfish in the towns of  Anda and Bolinao in Pangasinan because of the red tide toxin which continues to affect the shellfish in the said areas. BFAR clears shellfish ban in Bataan

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) declared yesterday that the shellfish ban in the province of Bataan has lifted after laboratory tests showed that all kinds of shellfish were negative in red tide poison. Collecting and eating of the shellfish in the said province are no longer prohibited.
