LTFRB approves P1 provisional fare increase for PUJs for first 4 kilometers
(Eagle News) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board on Wednesday, July 4, announced the approval of a provisional P1 increase for the first four kilometers for public utility jeepneys. LTFRB Chair Martin Delgra III said the order, which will be released tomorrow, applies to only select jeepneys. He said these were the jeepneys plying the National Capital Region, Region 3 and Region 4 routes.

ACTO asks for lower minimum fare in PUJs
Transport group Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations or ACTO proposed a lower minimum fare in public utility jeepneys. From the current minimum fare of Php 7.50, ACTO wants the minimum fare to be lowered to Php 7.00 for the first four kilometers.
