(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law banning smoking in public places nationwide. Under Executive Order No. 26, smoking in “enclosed public places and public conveyances, whether stationary or in motion” is now prohibited. Selling cigarettes will also be banned in all enclosed public places, according to the order published late Thursday and which takes effect in 60 days.
