QUEZON City, Philippines – Malacañang is confident that the impeachment complaint filed against President Rodrigo Duterte will be dismissed. Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said the impeachment complaint filed by Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano has no basis. Based on the statement, Duterte’s net worth was pegged at P27,428,862.44 as of December 31, 2016. The president’s basic monthly salary increased from P165,752 to P222,278 starting January 2017.
