(Eagle News) — Inflation eased to 3 percent in January. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, this was slower than the 3.6 percent rate recorded in December 2021. The PSA said the slowdown was due to the lower annual increase in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel, now at 4.5 percent in January 2022, from 5.1 percent in December 2021.
