Three fishermen floating for nine hours after their boat capsized off Samal Island were rescued by the Philippine Navy. Lt. (Eagle News)– The Philippine Navy has deployed its newest and largest vessel — BRP Tarlac– to lead the naval blockade amidst reports of plans of Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) escaping via Sulu Sea. BRP Tarlac will serve as the command and control ship of the navy against the terrorists.
