PNP unearths high-powered firearms in Mayor Espinosa’s yard
QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Philippine National Police (PNP) was able to recover illegal drugs and high-powered firearms in the property of Mayor Rolando Espinosa in Sitio Tinago, Brgy. Binoldo, Albuera, Leyte. According to PNP Chief Inspector Jovy Espinido, they found the high-powered firearms in the yard of the property while the illegal drugs was discovered in the kitchen. Police included in “narco list” will be declared AWOL if they do not report
QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – – The leadership of the Philippine National Police warned that those police who were included in the “narco list” will be declared AWOL or absent without leave if they fail to report within 11 days to their mother units. Those who fail to report may also face charges of insubordination. The PNP added that the alleged “narco-cops” need not report to Camp Crame but can report instead to their immediate superiors.

PNP coordinates with DOJ regarding cases against mayors and police personnel
