(Eagle News) — Tropical Depression “Maring” maintained its strength as it moved in a west, northwest direction, prompting some local government units to suspend classes on Tuesday. Low pressure area develops into tropical depression; “Kiko” expected to bring rains over parts of northern Luzon

(Eagle News) — A low pressure area last spotted over Aurora has developed into a tropical depression, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services said on Monday. The weather bureau announced on its Friday advisory that the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas will continue to experience the effects of the easterlies.
