“Mario” makes landfall over northern Cagayan, to leave PAR by Sunday

MANILA, Philippines (ENS) — Tropical Storm “MARIO” has maintained its strength and has made landfall over the northern tip of Cagayan. LPA to leave PAR Saturday or Sunday

MANILA, Aug. 23 (PNA) — The low pressure area (LPA) hovering over Luzon is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday or Sunday, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
