Philippines likely to experience colder weather this month

Expect a colder weather in the coming days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather forecast. The state bureau said that colder weather will likely experience until the weekend due to the northeast monsoon. (Eagle News Service)

PAGASA officially declares start of north-east monsoon

According to the PAGASA, it is now officially north-east monsoon or “amihan” season although the effects of the El Niño will continue to be felt. PAGASA notes increasingly hotter days indicating end of northeast monsoon

Typhoon “Paeng,” northeast monsoon, might affect Luzon areas

MANILA, Philippines —  Typhoon “Paeng”, the latest weather disturbance to enter the country, was spotted 1,220 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora as of 4:00 am today.  It is expected to move west northwest at 13 kph.
