Death toll in sunken ferry off Quezon rises to five

(Eagle News) — The death toll in Thursday’s incident that saw a ferry with hundreds on board capsizing in stormy weather off Quezon has increased to five, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said on Friday. P26-M worth of agriculture, 113 houses damaged by ‘Lawin’ in CAR – NDRRMC

MANILA, Philippines — The National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that 113 houses were damaged by Lawin in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), including six houses that were totally damaged and 107 others that were partially damaged.
