Senate approves modernization of NBI

Mastermind of Enzo Pastor slay arrested

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) succeeded in apprehending Sandy De Guzman, alleged mastermind behind the killing of Enzo Pastor. DOJ already has final report regarding “laglag-bala”

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) finalized its report regarding the “laglag-bala” scheme in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and has submitted the same to the Department of Justice (DOJ). NBI coordinates with Malaysia regarding Veloso’s recruiters

MANILA, Philippines – According to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is now coordinating with Malaysian counterparts regarding the foreign conspirators who were responsible for recruiting Mary Jane Veloso. De Lima added that they are waiting for formal request to place Veloso’s recruiters under the Immigration’s watch list. The NBI filed charges of human trafficking, illegal recruitment and estafa.
