Palace to gov’t agencies: Support program aimed at slashing poverty incidence by 7.6 percent by end of Duterte’s term

(Eagle News) — The Palace has  ordered all agencies to extend their support to the government program that aims to reduce poverty incidence by 7.6 percent when President Rodrigo Duterte’s term ends in 2022. (Eagle News)—Liza Maza has resigned as National Anti-Poverty Commission chair. Maza made the announcement on Monday, Aug. 20,  after she and several others were ordered arrested for the death of Anakbayan supporters. The charges were however dismissed, and the warrant voided.
