(Eagle News)–The Department of Justice has cleared Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor Melandres De Sagun of the murder of Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan. Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete said the complaints for murder against Luis Abad Jr. and Ronel Bersamina were also dismissed. Instead, indicted for two counts of murder were Ariel Paiton, the alleged gunman,  and councilor Lawrence Arca, who allegedly sold the getaway vehicle of the gunman.
