  (Eagle News) — A magnitude 6.5 quake rocked Masbate at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, which was felt at various intensities in surrounding provinces. ORMOC CITY, Leyte (Eagle News) – Pinayuhan na ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang ilang mga residente sa Leyte na lumikas na agad. Ormoc City placed under state of calamity

ORMOC CITY, Leyte (Eagle News) – The entire Ormoc City  has been placed under a state of calamity after properties were damaged by a series of earthquakes in the Visayas last week. Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez has also decided to suspend classes in all schools because of aftershocks.
