(Eagle News)—The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines hoisted a yellow alert over Luzon grid on Saturday, April 27. The NGCP said the alert, which means reserves dropped down to required levels, was effective from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Available capacity was pegged at 10638 megawatts, while peak demand was at 9989 MW.
