The Light Rail Transit Authority said this was as of 11:28 a.m. This was over an hour after LRT-2 operations were suspended after a “technical glitch.” The LRTA did not elaborate, but said an “intervention” was ongoing at that time.

(Eagle News)–The Light Rail Transit 2 announced free rides to commuters on selected hours on Sunday, Dec. 30. The LRT2 management said the free rides can be availed of from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. It said this was in commemoration of Rizal Day. Earlier, the Metro Rail Transit 3 also announced it was giving free rides to commuters during selected hours on the same day.
