LTFRB starts accepting applicants for special permit for buses

LTFRB says that taxi distance and waiting time rates will remain the same

MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board clarified that the distance and waiting time rate of taxis will remain the same and will not be included in the reduction of the taxi flag-down rates on March 19. LTFRB approves nationwide taxi fare cuts

MANILA, Mar 15 – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has approved the permanent reduction of the existing taxi fare nationwide (except Cordillera Administrative Region) to P30.00 for the flag-down rate, P3.50 for every succeeding 500 meters and P3.50 for the waiting time per 90 seconds.
