(Eagle News) — Malacanang has declared June 24, 2021 a special non-working day in Manila. According to Proclamation No. 1167 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, the declaration was in commemoration of the city’s 450th founding anniversary. Palace declares June 24, 2019 a special non-working holiday in Manila
(Eagle News)–The Palace has declared June 24 a special non-working holiday in Manila. The declaration was contained in Proclamation 731 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. According to the proclamation, this was to give the people of the city the “full opportunity to celebrate and participate” in activities relating to the city’s 448th founding anniversary. Manila was founded in 1571.
