Palace sees signing of EO to implement FOI on Friday
MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — Malacañang expects the Executive Order (EO) on the Freedom of Information (FOI) to be signed on Friday, June 8 in line with the government’s policy of transparency. Presidential Communications Operation Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar said that the draft EO on FOI would be ready Thursday night. Andanar earlier said the order would require government offices under the executive branch to release details of their transactions.
