Pangasinan, may mataas na kaso ng acute gastroenteritis

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan (Eagle News) — Pinag-iingat ng Provincial Health Office ang publiko matapos maitala ang mataas na kaso ng acute gastroenteritis sa lalawigan ng Pangasinan. Ayon sa PHO, umabot na sa mahigit 5,000 ang naitalang kaso ng acute gastroenteritis doon. Ayon din sa PHO ay nasa 19 na ang nasawi dahil sa nasabing sakit. Karamihan sa mga biktima ay edad 5 taon pababa. Nanawagan ang PHO sa publiko na ugaliin ang paghuhugas ng kamay bago at pagkatapos kumain. […]

FDA proposes rule to prevent food contamination during transport

Fri Jan 31, 2014 12:21pm EST (Reuters) – Food transportation companies will be required to adhere to certain sanitation standards to prevent food from becoming contaminated during transit under a new rule proposed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
