Country’s firefighters to be armed soon, Año says

(Eagle News) — The country’s firefighters will be armed soon. This is according to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, who issued a statement on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Three injured in QC fire

(Eagle News)—-Three people were hurt after a fire razed a residential area in Quezon City on Wednesday evening, Jan. 23. Those injured in the blaze in Barangay Roxas have yet to be identified. As of early Thursday, Jan. 24, firemen are still in the area. There are no details available at press time.

Fire hits residential area in Alabang

(Eagle News) — The fire that hit a residential area in Muntinlupa City on Tuesday has been put out. The Muntinlupa fire department said the blaze that hit houses on Mendiola Street, Purok Uno was declared out at 9:24 a.m. Over ten houses were affected by the fire, which reached the third alarm. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. No one was reported injured.

At least one confirmed dead in QC fire

(Eagle News) — One person has been confirmed dead in the fire that struck a residential area in Quezon City on Friday. Authorities said the victim was a 67-year-old. They, have, however, yet to release a name. The fire that struck the residential area on Calamba St.,  Talayan Village before lunchtime, has reached the fifth alarm.
