Palace to release names of inmates to receive executive clemency
According to Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, the Palace may release the list of inmates who will receive executive clemency this week, after the deliberations of the Office of the President. Said pardon will be given to inmates who are suffering from illnesses and those who were abandoned by their families. The Bureau of Corrections earlier said that around 200 inmates will be given pardon.
