With its aim to improve the lives of its members, the Iglesia Ni Cristo have started several eco-farming ventures in various locations, one of which is in the newly-inaugurated EVM Self-Sustainable Resettlement Community.
Other than supplying food for the EVM Self-Sustainable Resettlement Community, one of the targets of the new community is to be a primary supplier of food and other products for the Visayas region.
With the inauguration of the EVM Self-Sustainable Resettlement Community, the victims of super-typhoon “Yolanda” cannot help but expressed their happiness as they now can start rebuilding their lives with their new homes. Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo also visited the various livelihood centers in the resettlement community.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo Executive Minister, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, inaugurated the EVM Self-sustainable Resettlement Community ten months after the ground-breaking ceremony. Said community will serve as the new home for “Yolanda” victims.
BARELY a year after the record-breaking “World Wide Walk”, the resettlement site for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda is inaugurated.
