Koronadal City, inilagay ng PNP sa heightened alert dahil sa protesta ng mga magsasaka

Inilagay na ng Philippine National Police sa heightened alert ang buong Koronadal City dahil sa isinagawang limang araw na pag-protesta ng mga magsasaka sa harap ng Department of Agriculture Region 12 sa Brgy. Carpenter Hills, Koronadal City. Nagsimulang magbarikada ang mga ito noong Linggo, Abril 24 sa apat na lane ng national highway na kumokonekta sa Koronadal at General Santos City. Ayon sa kanila, wala na silang makain at nagkakasakit na dahil sa El Niño phenomenon.

DOH, iniimbestigahan na ang pinanggalingan ng Norovirus

Zamboanga City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Nagpadala na ng epidemiologist ang Department of Health sa Zamboanga City para imbestigahan ang posibleng pinanggalingan ng Norovirus. Nagpadala na rin ang DOH ng mga gamot gaya ng IV fluids at oresol sa mga ospital at health center sa nasabing lugar. Apat na ang naiulat na nasawi dahil sa virus na sinasabing pinalala ng nararanasang El Niño phenomenon. Ilan sa sintomas ng virus ay diarrhea, pagsusuka at lagnat.

DA ensures positive agricultural production despite El Niño
