The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 97 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:26 p.m. The quake had a depth of 123 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No significant damage was expected.

(Eagle News)—-A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Laguna on Friday afternoon. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit five kilometers south of Los Baños at 5:15 p.m. The depth of the quake, which is of tectonic origin, was 20 kilometers. No aftershocks nor damage was expected.
