Espinosa aide shot dead in Ormoc, Leyte

(Eagle News)—An aide of self-confessed drug distributor Kerwin Espinosa was shot dead early Wednesday, Sept. 26. Police said Joel Aberilla was shot while he was drinking with his friends at 12:50 a.m. in Barangay Alta Vista, Ormoc, Leyte. The gunman, according to the police, had alighted from a white vehicle that stopped in front of Aberilla’s group. Aberilla was dead on the spot. The police Aberilla acted as Espinosa’s financier.
