4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Tuesday, April 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:20 a.m. The epicenter was 113 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso. The depth of focus was 97 kilometers. The following  instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity I – Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; Malungon, Sarangani; City of General Santos, South Cotabato No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

JUST IN: 4.7-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Sunday, Nov. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 6:42 a.m. It had its epicenter 75 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. The depth of focus was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

4.4-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental early Monday, Dec. 21

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Monday, December 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:07 a.m. It had its epicenter 141 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake had a depth of nine kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Friday, Oct. 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:53 a.m., had its epicenter 86 kilometers northeast of Baganga. It had a depth of 22 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)– A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Wednesday, July 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 11:13 p.m., had its epicenter 100 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. Depth of focus was 49 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake jolts Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Nov. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 156 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 12:48 p.m. Depth of focus was 76 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 107 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 7:18 a.m. Depth of focus was 46 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.2-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Friday, Sept. 27. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 170 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 4:21 p.m. Depth of focus was 46 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.0-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Monday, Sept. 23. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 106 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 1:38 a.m. Depth of focus was 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.5-magnitude earthquake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 161 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:24 a.m. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus of the quake was 103 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.    

3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Aug. 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 39 kilometers southeast of Baculin at 4:44 a.m. Depth of focus was 33 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
