Former NBI director Gierran is new PhilHealth chief

Eric Distor designated NBI officer-in-charge

(Eagle News) — The National Bureau of Investigation has a new officer-in-charge. President Rodrigo Duterte has designated NBI deputy director for intelligence service Eric Distor to the post following the retirement of Dante Gierran. Distor is the temporary chief of the NBI until President Duterte sees a replacement for Gierran. Distor’s appointment was effective Feb. 23.
